I was under the false impression that hard work is what brings people success

Who, in their right mind, would turn down information on how to make their annual income their monthly income? Most will reject the idea of making their annual income their monthly income because they don’t know HOW to make it happen. It’s the “how” that actually stops most people dead in their tracks.

Combining “know how” with “ability” is the biggest downfall people suffer in today’s world. When someone doesn’t know how to do something, they automatically default to I can’t.

That afternoon, my mentor taught me that making money, traveling on vacation, working less, and every other upgrade to my life had everything to do with my level of awareness and not how hard I was working.

You see, I believed that in order to get ahead in life, I needed to work harder—I needed to do what I was doing harder and faster. I was under the false impression that hard work is what brings people success.

That’s simply not the case.

Now don’t get me wrong, working hard can yield great results in life; however, there’s an easier path—a path where you can do more with less.

Success is dependent upon your level of awareness.

People don’t make $100,000 a year because they love making that amount each year. Please make $100,000 because they are completely unaware of how to make that much money in a month. They have defaulted to “I don’t know how to make $100,000 in a month; therefore, I can’t make $100,000 in a month.”

People don’t work 80 hours a week because they are just dying to get to work and work 80 hours a week. Most people are working 80 hours a week because they haven’t figured out how to get the same amount of output in 40 hours or 20 hours or zero hours a week. They don’t know how to work 20 hours a week and make the same amount of money they were making working 80 hours a week. And, again, because they don’t know how to work less and make more, they default to I can’t.

People don’t take a vacation for two weeks a year because that’s all of the time they wish to vacation. They vacation only two weeks a year because they don’t know how to do it every month.

Are you beginning to see the power of awareness? The more aware you become, the more freedom you’ll find.

Ignorance is NOT bliss—awareness is!

Are you aware of the possibility that’s out there in front of you right now, this very minute? People ask me all the time “Tony, why is personal development important?” It’s important because if we are not developing that part of our brain that sees more, then we will see precisely what we are used to seeing, and we will continue to get the same results we’ve always gotten.

Do you want different results? Raise your level of awareness.

How do I raise my level of awareness? Investing in personal development is the first start.
